SCHOOL BASED ACTIVITY (21/10/2024)

Emmanuel College of B.Ed training in association with Government Girls Higher Secondary School Nedumangad conducted an awareness program on CHILD RIGHTS in 21st era "സുരക്ഷാവലയം" on 21 October 2024. The program was planned to conducted in accordance to the B. Ed. Norms prescribed by the University of Kerala. We decided to invite a resource person who can be the most appropriate to deal with the students of age group 13-14 years. After a lot of discussion, we decided to invite respected  Biju Simon Sir, founder of ETHER INDIA as the resource person for the event.

The school authorities gave all their support and help in conducting this program. The inaugural person was invited by the school Principal and the PTA president. The person was the education standing committee chairperson Smt. P Vasanthakumari mam.

The invited students were from the classes , 8 A, 8 B, 8 C, 8 D, 8 E and 8 F. The program started by 11:45 am. The welcome speech was delivered by Smt. Ramani Murali ( Head Mistress GGHSS Nedumangad). The inaugural speech was delivered by Smt. P Vasanthakumari mam, ( education standing committee chairperson Nedumangad municipality ). She gave her blessings to the program. The felicitations were given by Mr. Raji ( PTA President), Smt Dr. Anitha Kumari ( Higher Secondary Representative GGHSS Nedumangad ), Ms. Amritha ( student trainee ), Sister Deepa ( student trainee).

After the inauguration section Dr Biju Simon had taken over the class.

After having a very good talk with the students, he conducted various games for the

students. From the very beginning the students were so much interested in his class.

The way he interacted with the students were in such a way that everyone will get

interested so easily. Students welcome his classes with a large applause. The games

where so much interesting. He gave them activities like tablo preparation. He gave

students different situations and ask them to creatively form different tablos.

The  students participated in the activities very actively. His intentions was to aware the

students about the crimes against them to the tablos.
