Video scripting, shooting, editing and uploading in blog /YouTube
As part of our B.Ed program, I completed the process of creating and publishing a video to enhance Social Science learning. The steps involved were scripting, shooting, editing, and uploading the video to a digital platform.
1. Scripting
The video began with detailed scripting to ensure content clarity and flow. The script included an introduction, key points, visuals, and transitions. I ensured accuracy by referencing textbooks and credible online sources to make the content educational and engaging.
2. Shooting
The shooting process was carried out using a smartphone with good resolution. I selected a well-lit environment to ensure proper visibility. Background props were kept simple to avoid distractions. Various angles were shot to add dynamism to the video.
3. Editing
Editing was done using an AI-based tool to refine the footage. I added background music, visual effects, text overlays, and transitions to make the video more engaging. Voiceovers were added to enhance comprehension, and subtitles were included to make the video more accessible.
4. Uploading
The final video was uploaded to my YouTube channel and blog. The title, description, and tags were optimized to ensure searchability. I also included a brief summary of the content to provide context for viewers.
This activity helped me improve my content creation and video editing skills, which are valuable for teaching in a digital learning environment. Additionally, it served as an effective way to make Social Science concepts more engaging for students.
