Teaching Practice Reflection Week 3 ( Sem 4 )

                         Teaching Practice Reflection Week 3 ( Sem 4 )

Week 3: (25/11/2024 – 29/11/2024)

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin

This week, I started teaching the chapter Atmosphere in Class 8G. Since this topic involved geographical concepts, I relied on maps, videos, and hands-on activities to make the lessons engaging. Students were particularly interested in topics like layers of the atmosphere and weather phenomena.

I encouraged students to participate in small experiments, such as observing temperature differences at different times of the day. I also introduced a fun activity where they had to create weather reports for different regions in India. These interactive methods helped in maintaining student interest and understanding. Additionally, the Constitution Day event took place, where I helped with coordination. These activities made me realize how co-curricular programs contribute to students’ overall growth.

Apart from my subject teaching, I continued assisting in midday meal service. I also attended a meeting regarding Sports Day preparations. It was inspiring to see the enthusiasm among students and teachers for this event. This week further strengthened my confidence in handling both academic and co-curricular responsibilities.
