Teaching Practice Reflection Week 2 ( Sem 4 )
Week 2: (18/11/2024 – 22/11/2024)
“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.” – B.B. King
Continuing with the chapter on Economic Thought, I introduced more case studies and real-world applications to help students connect economic theories with practical situations. We discussed concepts like capitalism, socialism, and mixed economies, and I encouraged students to think critically about how these systems function in different countries.
By mid-week, I noticed that some students struggled with complex economic terminologies. To address this, I created simple notes and conducted a quiz to reinforce their understanding. I also incorporated group discussions where students shared their opinions on economic policies in India.
This week, I also took part in organizing a drawing competition for students. It was interesting to see their creativity and enthusiasm. Additionally, I was involved in preparing for the Constitution Day celebrations, where I assisted in making posters and arranging speeches for students. These experiences helped me realize the importance of extracurricular activities in holistic education.
