Teaching Practice Reflection Week 7 ( Sem 4 )
Week 7: (6/01/2025 – 10/01/2025)
“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” – Henry Adams
After a break, I resumed teaching with a new topic, Water, for Class 8G. The chapter focused on water resources, conservation, and management. To make the lessons engaging, I used case studies of water scarcity in different regions and discussed methods like rainwater harvesting.
I also conducted a class debate on “Is water scarcity a natural or human-made problem?” which encouraged students to think critically. Their responses showed a deep understanding of the topic.
In addition to teaching, I assisted in club activities, where we planned awareness programs on environmental conservation. I also continued my participation in midday meal service. This week was fulfilling as I could blend academics with social responsibilities.
